Since the beginning of civilization, throughout all strata of cultures, jewelry has been a part of day to day life. Born and raised in Surat, India, I was introduced to art and architecture at an early age through my parents’ love for travel and appreciation for art. My journey as a jewelry started when I joined the Academy of Art University in 2001 where I learned various jewelry making techniques. I express myself through fusion of ethnic and contemporary jewelry, using historical motifs and forms from Indian art and architecture.

As I continue to be intrigued by the intricate shapes and forms from Indian architecture and my admiration for archaic jewelry making techniques, I passionately combine these two and create hand wrought, one of a kind, bespoke, wearable art along with some small series jewelry.
